Grilled pork neck on skewers
Ingredients
- Pork neck – 2.2 kg
- Salt – 1 tablespoon
- Paprika – 1 teaspoon
- Onion – 1 piece medium
- Carbonated mineral water – 50 ml
The recipe is pretty simple. But, there are enough nuances: choose the right meat (unfortunately, in the markets they often chop and cut the meat so that you can’t look without tears), then cut the meat for the marinade correctly – into identical pieces and always across the fibers.
So let’s take the neck
Clean from excess fat, membranes, etc. We cut lengthwise into three parts, and then we cut each part across the fibers into pieces for grill.
Add Salt
Add paprika
Let stand for 10-15 minutes
Then we cut the onion into half rings, squeeze it over the meat and put it in a container. Mix thoroughly.
Add Carbonated mineral water, mix again.
And put it in the fridge. Ready in a couple of hours
Half an hour before cooking, we take the meat out of the refrigerator and let it stand for a while at room temperature.
We string on the metal skewers (it is desirable that there are identical pieces on one skewer)
On properly prepared coals, the meat is fried for no more than 20 minutes.
The main thing is to turn over regularly. On one side 3-5 minutes.
P.S. this dish can be cooked in the oven, but what could be better than cooking it outside? Fresh air, friends, meat and beer… what could be better?
Bon Appetit.
Cook with pleasure!
Hi, I read your blogs regularly. Your writing style is awesome, keep doing what you’re doing!
Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it
or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message
home a little bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog.
An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
Easy recipe!
So easy marinade thanks!
