Belyashi, small round meat pies. Very juicy recipe

Hi friends! Specially for you, a recipe for delicious meat pies. Based on Asian recipes.

For 10 pies

Ingredients (dough)

  • Wheat flour – 320-350 g
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs – 1 pc
  • Yeast (dry) – 10 g
  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Milk – 125 ml

Ingredients (filling)

  • Beef meat- 300 g
  • Onion – 3 pcs (medium)
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water – 70-80 ml

Of course, you can take ready-made dough and ground meat, but it will not be the same.

Let’s start with a dough.

Pour warm milk into the container in which you will knead the dough and pour the yeast into it. Let the yeast dissolve well while stirring. Now add salt and eggs, stir and add the sifted flour.

We knead the dough well, it takes about 7-10 minutes for kneading, so that the dough is homogeneous and without lumps. Add oil, mix, cover with cling film and put the dough in a warm place. After 2 hours the dough should rise well. We crush it and again cover with a film and leave for 45-50 minutes. After the first kneading, the dough should rise quickly. And as soon as the rise starts to decline, we knead the dough a second time.

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Everything is easier here.

Cut the meat and onion and run through the meat grinder. Add salt, pepper and water. Mix well. Ready.

You can also just chop the meat and onions very finely.

Everything is prepared, we begin to make pies.

Divide the dough into 10 equal parts.

Roll each part into thin circles, put the ground meat in the center of the circle, pinch the edges, leaving the middle open. (see photo) Let the pies stand, rest for 30-40 minutes.

Heat up the oil in a frying pan. Put the pies on the pan with the open side down. Fry for 3-5 minutes on one side, turn over and the same amount on the other. If you like it more fried, hold for 5-7 minutes on each side. (In the photo – both options were made)

Let me give you a couple of tips:

Do not put all the pies at once in one pan.

Let the oil reheat between batches.
